Check Out The Midnight’s Captivating ‘Deep Blue’ Video

The Midnight’s latest album, Monsters, has leveled up the band’s artistic scope and fan reach considerably since its release last year. The band is now on tour after a long pandemic-inflicted setback, and complementing that journey is the exquisite video for “Deep Blue,” directed by CHVRCHES video-helmer Lucky.

The Counter Records band’s latest music video is an artful blast of captivating blue light that complements a catchy minor-key cut that has proven to be one of the best songs on Monsters. Sultry embraces run up against beautifully unhinged and eminently colorful electric visualizations of seemingly extraterrestrial origin. Ultimately, Lucky has deftly captured the spirit and substance of “Deep Blue.”

Make sure you go see Tim McEwan, Tyler Lyle, and friends live if you get a chance. They’re going to be all over Europe and North America. Get your tickets here.

“We are so grateful for the opportunity to tour again,” the duo said in a statement. “Over the last few months, we have spent a lot of time together writing new music and reminiscing on the feeling of what it’s like to share what we do with an audience. We have the best fans, and we’re so excited to bring a bigger band, bigger show, and new songs to all of these cities.”

Another big gem to come out recently is the inimitable Droid Bishop’s remix of “Deep Blue.” Some of you lucky folks even got to see him open for the band a few days ago in San Diego.
