Taking their cues from musical inspirations like  Liz Phair, Veruca Salt, Hole, and Garbage, how can SUB*T go wrong? Luckily, they can’t. The end result/experiment is music that is blissfully exciting, carefree, and well-played but never boring, fuzzed-out rock and roll with a bit of grunge thrown in.

Fronted by self-taught musicians Grace Bennett and Jade Alcantara, SUB*T is a Brooklyn, New York-based alt-rock band. The group has an intriguing video that goes with the new single. Without giving too much away, it explores what possibly looks like the occult and rolling of dice and a connection to specific numbers and numerology. There are a lot of sequences that use colorful lights and shadows and blurring and doubling of images. All these techniques give context and meaning to the lyrics. Still, the listener can always interpret a song the way they hear and feel it. This just adds to the allure of SUB*T where they are putting all their talents together. It is done both sonically and visually to reach an audience, with powerhouse riffs and great hooks, but to wow them with a creative video.
